TRU-ID® Certified

TRU-ID® uses DNA barcode testing which can only be done on products that are sourced from living organisms, such as botanicals in our herbal supplements and bacteria in our probiotics.

A botanical product is any supplement sourced from plants such as the herbs Echinacea, Cranberry, Ginseng, Garlic and Turmeric.

TRU-ID® is an independent, University based certification program that uses the latest in DNA technology to verify the correct identity of the plant species or bacteria strain declared on the label.

With the new technology used by TRU-ID®, the quality and purity of supplements with plant-based ingredients and bacteria strains are further validated. Any supplement company is welcome to put their product forward for TRU-ID® testing; however, only those products that meet TRU-ID® qualifications can put the TRU-ID® logo on pack.
